Anion Exchange Resin is a synthetic polymeric resin designed to remove negatively charged ions (anions) from water and other aqueous solutions through ion-exchange processes. It is widely used in water purification, demineralization, deionization, boiler-feed water treatment, industrial wastewater treatment and chemical processing. Anion resins can exchange ions such as chloride, sulphate, nitrate, bicarbonate and other anions, depending on the resin type and operating conditions. They are typically supplied as small spherical beads and are available in strong-base and weak-base varieties for different treatment requirements.
