Aluminium Sulphate 17% is a widely used inorganic coagulant supplied in solid form, typically as white to off-white granules or powder. It is primarily used in water and wastewater treatment to promote coagulation and flocculation, helping remove suspended solids, turbidity, colour and other impurities from water. It is also used in paper manufacturing, textile processing, leather processing and selected industrial applications. In water treatment, Aluminium sulphate reacts with alkalinity in the water to form Aluminium hydroxide flocs that capture and settle suspended particles, improving water clarity. Chemical formula: Al₂(SO₄)₃ | CAS No.: 10043-01-3 | Typical Al₂O₃ content: 17%. Suitable for municipal, swimming pools, commercial and industrial water-treatment applications, subject to the required grade and water-treatment specifications.
