Sodium Metasilicate is an alkaline inorganic compound widely used as a builder, detergent booster, pH regulator, water softener, dispersing agent and corrosion inhibitor. It is particularly effective in improving cleaning performance by helping control water hardness and emulsify oils and soils. It is commonly used in powder detergents, industrial cleaners, degreasers, water treatment, metal cleaning, ceramics and various industrial formulations.
