Optical Brightener CBS-X is a high-performance fluorescent whitening agent widely used to enhance the brightness and visual whiteness of fabrics and other materials. It absorbs ultraviolet light and re-emits it as blue light, helping to counteract yellowish tones and produce a cleaner, brighter appearance. CBS-X is commonly used in laundry detergents, fabric care products, paper, textiles and selected cleaning formulations. Chemical name: Disodium 4,4′-bis(2-benzoxazolyl)stilbene-2,2′-disulfonate; CAS: 27344-41-8. It is particularly valued for its good water solubility, whitening performance and stability in detergent formulations.
