Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂) is a clear, colourless aqueous solution with strong oxidizing, bleaching and disinfecting properties. It is widely used in water and wastewater treatment, industrial cleaning, surface sanitation, pulp and paper processing, textile bleaching, chemical manufacturing and selected food-processing applications, depending on the grade and regulatory requirements. The 35% grade is commonly used in food applications where a lower concentration is preferred for controlled industrial and processing applications, while 50% hydrogen peroxide provides a higher concentration of active oxidant for industrial processes requiring greater oxidative strength.
