Cocamidopropyl Betaine (CAPB) 35% is a mild amphoteric surfactant derived from coconut fatty acids and widely used in personal-care and cleansing formulations. It functions as a secondary surfactant, foam booster, foam stabilizer, viscosity enhancer and mild cleansing agent, while helping improve the overall skin and hair feel of surfactant systems. CAPB 35% is commonly used in shampoos, liquid soaps, shower gels, facial cleansers, bubble baths, hand washes and other personal-care products. It is typically supplied as a clear to pale yellow viscous liquid with approximately 35% active matter. INCI Name: Cocamidopropyl Betaine | CAS No.: 61789-40-0 | Typical active matter: ~35%.
