Raw Shea Butter (Nilotica) is a natural, soft and creamy plant butter obtained from the nuts of the East African shea tree (Vitellaria nilotica). Compared with conventional West African shea butter, Nilotica shea butter is naturally softer, smoother and more easily spreadable, making it highly suitable for skin and hair formulations. It provides excellent emollient, moisturizing, conditioning and skin-softening properties and is widely used in body butters, creams, lotions, lip balms, soaps, hair conditioners, scalp products and other personal-care formulations.
