NP9 (Nonylphenol Ethoxylate 9EO) is a nonionic surfactant widely used as an emulsifier, wetting agent, dispersant and detergent in industrial and formulation applications. It provides effective cleaning, wetting and emulsification performance and is commonly used in industrial and institutional cleaners, detergents, textile processing, paints and coatings, agrochemical formulations, metal cleaning and other industrial applications. NP9 offers good compatibility with other surfactants and performs across a broad range of formulation conditions. Chemical name: Nonylphenol Ethoxylate (9 EO) | CAS No.: 9016-45-9. Its use may be restricted in some markets because nonylphenol ethoxylates are considered environmentally persistent and have aquatic toxicity concerns; therefore, applicable local and end-use regulatory requirements should be observed.
