Glycerin USP (Glycerol) is a high-purity, colourless, odourless, viscous and hygroscopic liquid widely used as a humectant, solvent, moisturizing agent, plasticizer and formulation aid. USP-grade glycerin meets the quality requirements of the United States Pharmacopeia, making it suitable for applications where controlled purity is required. It is widely used in cosmetics and personal care, pharmaceuticals, soaps, shampoos, lotions, creams, toothpaste, liquid soaps, food products and other formulations. As a humectant, glycerin helps attract and retain moisture, contributing to improved skin feel and product texture.
