Castor Oil is a natural vegetable oil obtained from the seeds of the castor bean plant (Ricinus communis), characterized by its high content of ricinoleic acid. It is valued for its emollient, moisturizing, conditioning and film-forming properties and is widely used in soaps, creams, lotions, petroleum jellies, lip balms, hair oils, shampoos, conditioners, massage oils and other cosmetic formulations.
