Candle Wicks are specially designed fibrous components that draw melted wax or other candle fuel upward through capillary action to sustain a controlled flame. They are commonly made from braided or twisted cotton, with different constructions and thicknesses available to suit various candle sizes, wax types and fragrance loads. Candle wicks are widely used in the manufacture of container candles, pillar candles, votive candles, tealights and decorative candles. Proper wick selection helps achieve consistent burning, stable flame behavior, suitable melt-pool formation and reduced soot or smoke. Material: typically braided cotton | Applications: paraffin wax, soy wax, beeswax and blended wax candles. Wick size should be matched to the candle diameter, wax formulation, fragrance concentration and container design through appropriate burn testing.
